Responsibilities: API & Adapter development in .Net using C# for RFID devices (with native C dlls shipped with respective devices) that interfaces with the Middleware.
Design & development of a Middleware framework in .Net using C# that is roughly layered into interfaces like Device Manager, Business Manager, Filter Manager, Data Processor, Data Dispatcher, Data Logger & modules like Discovery & Notification. It collects, processes, controls & archives the RFID data from the devices to the database & vice-versa.
Design & development of an Window based application software including GUI in .Net using C# for member management, payment management, reporting, auditing, RFID encoding & real time monitoring of the members’ access to the club facilities.
TSQL Functions, Stored Procedures & Queries used by the data access layer of the Middleware & by the reporting, auditing & the monitoring modules of the application software for data archival, retrieval & lookups.

Description: This is an inventory tracking solution on .Net platform & Java (following event-driven architecture) using passive RFID technology & Oracle Sensor Edge Server (Oracle SES) for real-time location determination of warehouse stuffs arranged in shelves.
Responsibilities: API & Adapter development in Java for RFID devices that implements the Physical Proxy component of the Oracle Sensor Edge Server.
Filter & Dispatcher development in Java (These are components of the Oracle SES). The Filter hosts the redundancy checks and the filtering logics. The Dispatcher stages the RFID data from the devices to the database. These are the core components that constitute the Oracle SES.
Window based Real Time Monitoring application development including GUI in .Net using C# over TCP/IP that displays the current status & location of the warehouse stuffs within & outside the RFID equipped Smart Shelves with visual alarms & email notifications.
PL/SQL Functions, Stored Procedures & Queries used by the data access layer of the application for data archival, retrieval & lookups.
PL/SQL Packages & Advanced Data Types (ADTs) that runs the entire business logic of the application and logs the processed data for reporting & auditing.

It has been integrated with Microsoft BizTalk RFID 2000 as well.

Description: This is a monitoring & logging application developed on .Net platform using semi-passive RFID technology for tracking the temperatures attained by perishable goods in its supply chain. The goods are tagged with semi passive RFID tags (with temperature sensors & 4Kb memory) to capture temperatures at an interval throughout its lifetime. The application downloads the logged temperatures from the tag memory (when kept within the vicinity of RFID antennae), performs analysis & plots a graph using the downloaded data. It also generates notifications for goods that crossed the tolerable temperature band.
Responsibilities: API & Adapter development in .Net using VB for RFID devices (with native C dlls shipped with respective devices) that directly communicates with the application.
Design & development of the window based application software including GUI in .Net using VB that lets the users set a temperature band, encode RFID tags etc, identifies the tagged goods, downloads the logged data (temperatures), plots the graph & generates alarms for goods that crossed the set temperature band.
TSQL Functions, Stored Procedures & Queries used by the data access layer of the application for data archival, retrieval & lookups.
Highlights: This application has been showcased for client demo & was selected for Young IT 2007 nominations from Cognizant RFIDCoE.
